On June 23rd - the State Inspection for the Ranch
The Ranch has successfully completed the requirements to be licensed as an Arizona Child Welfare Agency, specifically as a Residential Care Facility. This has been the focus of effort for many at the ranch, since it was a required step in being able to house children at the Ranch. See July Tidbits for more information. Thanks to all who helped and prayed for this success!
2011 Camp Days for the Youth
Once again this year, the youth of the area enjoyed a week of fun in God's great outdoors. The setting of the Broken Arrow Youth Camp in the foothills of the Chiricahua Mountains provides a perfect place for hiking and outdoor games as well as good accommodations for the children and staff. It is a great Christian experience for our youth, and the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities gives everyone a chance to "shine"! We are expecting the arrival of new houseparents for the Ranch soon. Terry & Katie Mee will be coming from Albuquerque, NM. Welcome to the Mees!
Jesus' Birth Celebration 2011- Monday, December 26th, 11 am to 2 pm. Event is free, Donations most welcome!
Come join us for horseback rides, mule ride, go-cart ride, face-painting, temporary tattoos, colring contest, egg toss, and a special view of "Bottle Cap" Mountain through our high-power telescope. We will also have a Jumping Castle, quilting square art, BB gun/balloon shoot, dart game, music food and lots of joyous mingling with others!
If you've never been here before, this is an ideal time to tour the Ranch facilities. Take Hwy 80 south out of Benson, turn left on Country Club Rd, go over RR tracks and make an immediate left. Follow that road about 1 mile to the Ranch.
Come, let us rejoice together for the Greatest Gift ever: for unto us a Child was given; a Son was born, the Savior of the world.
