Ranch Photos

This is the approach to our main gate at the Children’s Ranch in Benson, Arizona.

The 89 acres of the ranch provide an ideal setting for the mission of the ranch:

to provide a refuge for abused and neglected children in a traditional family setting.

Thanks to the volunteer services of Eric & Renee Gorsuch at Stronghold Signs, we have an attractive new sign for the ranch.

Our name comes from this quote:

“All the King’s horses,

 His women and men;

with the King can put broken

children together again.”

We have 3 homes on the ranch, and hope to build 7 more in the future to house needy children and their house parents.

This is the “office” and home of our director, Ana Lucore.  In the spirit of naming each home as it is put to use, this is called the Pony.  Volunteers work here with Ana, helping with some of the paperwork burden of developing the ranch.

The Palomino is our second home - a doublewide mobile home donated to the ranch.  Volunteers have done many repairs in the building and built a beautiful deck that runs the full length of the front of the house.

This building is being used as a recreation  center for the ranch.

Our third building provides a home for our first permanent family on the ranch. Through God’s blessings and because of the efforts of the house parents, Brad and Carmen Martin, two of the children have recently been adopted, and will enjoy the ongoing ministries of the ranch.

This home is named El Caballo Blanco!

Summer brings a lot of green to our ranch...

And the kids are having fun in the great outdoors!

The Martin family enjoys a “breezy”

afternoon on the patio!

Brad is with Lyla, and Carmen is with

Alayana and Milluna.

Carmen’s message for us all is this:

“Can dreams come true? Are miracles for today? Does God truly give us the desires of our hearts? YES!”  (See the April 08 Trail Rider Newsletter for more on this story).

Milluna is 7 years old - our big sister.

Lyla is 6 and always has a smile!

Alayana is 5 years old and likes apples!

And they all love their puppy dog!
