Dear Prayer Partners:
With great emotion, I must tell you that the Ranch’s first houseparents, Brad and Carmen, will be moving. Over the past three years that they have been here, the Martins were sent five little girls by Tucson’s Christian Family Care Agency. Over that time, the biological parents of these little ones had their parental rights severed which put the girls up for adoption. Brad and Carmen decided to adopt first one, then the next as the same scenario took place with each of their ‘daughters’: Milluna (8), Lyla (7), Alayana (6), Kayla (5), and Grace (10 months). With the adoption of the girls, the Martin family is full up; and after prayer, were led to return to their home in Vail, Arizona -- a home they had readied for sale, but never sold. Now we know why.
THANK YOU BRAD AND CARMEN FOR GOING WHERE THE LORD LEADS.
THANK YOU BEING A FOUNDATIONAL PART OF THE CHILDREN’S RANCH.
THANK YOU FOR STEPPING OUT IN FAITH.
YOUR PRECIOUS FAMILY WILL BE DEEPLY AND DEARLY MISSED.
When the Martins complete their move this June, it will leave the Children’s Ranch open for the next houseparents. This is an immediate prayer request, because until the Lord sends parents, there will be no children living full-time on the Ranch. Please join me in petitioning the Father for workers in this field. We have prepared a Question and Answers document about Houseparents. I pray the Lord has you hand this to the very couple who have prayed for just such an opportunity.

One young teen, 15, that has been involved with the Ranch since 2000 had let anger and bitterness toward her parents begin to destroy her. About a year ago, she disconnected from The Ranch -- and others who cared for her -- to give way to resentment. But to God be the glory – two weeks ago she agreed to live with her aunt where there will be school and boundaries and accountability and love and support and encouragement. This young lady joined the YAG girls and me for church on Sunday. To have those three teen ladies in my vehicle caused my spirit to leap with thanks to God.
You know, when the Lord sends houseparents, we’ll have teens just like this living here full-time … or little ones like the Martins’ children.
Lord Jesus, please send Your laborers into this field. (Luke 10:2)
Thank you for sharing in the prayer needs of this ministry.
