Our Board Members:
Ana Lucore, President
Benson, AZ 85602
Ana has experience in
administrative, supervisory and managerial positions, teaching,
counseling, motivational speaking, word processing and writing. She has
experience with software accounting systems, sentinel property
management, liaison and PR work, and mission placement both foreign and
domestic. Currently Ana is a CASA (court appointed special advocate),
appointed by the judge to advocate for children in care. She has worked
to develop and maintain The Children's Ranch organization. Ana is also a
Child caregiver (her favorite thing). Her CPR and first aid training
are kept up-to-date. Member of Southeastern Arizona Christian Writer's
Workshop.

Susan Vaughn, Vice President
Benson, AZ 85602
Susan has experience in 4-H and FFA
Projects; is a Certified Food Handler and a sound system operator. She
grew up in foster home setting (Susie's parents fostered). She is a CASA
(court-appointed special advocate) and is CPR and first aid licensed.
She assists the President with P.R. within the community. Susan is
also a driver and aid for the elderly through Catholic Community
Transport Services. |

Kathy Stevens, Programs Director
Dragoon, AZ 85609
Kathy has volunteered with several different
organizations since arriving in Arizona in 1999. She served the Cochise Baptist
Association as clerk, executive board member and retreat planning committee member. She was a parent representative for the Benson High School Advisory Council for six years and has served in numerous
positions in the local churches. Kathy has been part of the Children’s Ranch
since 2002 -- first as a member, then as secretary and now as Programs
Director. Kathy
completed her Associates Degree
in Sign
Language Interpreting in 2009 and is
currently working on a Bachelors Degree in Human Services at Wayland Baptist University. Kathy has worked since 2001 as a caregiver for developmentally
disabled adults and holds certificates in First Aid and CPR, as well as
others related to her field of work. |

Jim Cox, Treasurer / Accountant
Benson, AZ 85602
Graduated Magna Cum Laude 1975 - BS in Accounting and Business, Regis
University; passed May 75 CPA exam at first sitting (Colorado Certificate
#3986); background in organizing accounting department; implementing computer
account and financial analysis system; acquisition team member; private stock
placement; negotiate purchase of precious metals; design accounting and
financial reporting systems; managed accounts for US Bank's $6.0 billion investment
portfolio; regulatory reports for SEC, FDIC, FED, etc. business forecasts;
construction schedules / budgets; administrative functions; business operation
systems; inventory control; marketing. |

Denise Celentano, Secretary
Benson, AZ 85602
Current co-owner, along with her husband Terry, of
Sweet Sunset LLC since 1992. Denise has a rich background
in proprietorship, business managerial and full-charge
bookkeeping positions. Various facilities that benefited by her talents
are a Veterinary Clinic, Construction Company, Volunteer Fire Department,
Merchants’ Association, Chamber of Commerce, State Fund, and a Federal Credit Union.
Besides the secretarial position of the Ranch board, Denise is the backbone of
her husband’s yearly Golf
Tournament. Terry’s golf experience and contacts -- along with
Denise's ambitious marketing ideas -- have been a huge financial blessing to
the Ranch. |

Nathan Coleman, Building Advisor
Benson, AZ 85602
Nathan brings to the Ranch a vast background in
construction that he sincerely pursued as a teenager. In his adult
years, he held an Arizona General Contractors
license; and along with his partner, drafted and
designed numerous superior-quality homes. Nathan now runs
Rincon Services, and over the past seven years of the operation, has added
to his credentials in the construction
process. His experience with Cochise County Planning and Zoning
alone is a tremendous benefit to The Ranch. Nathan and Becky, his
wife of twenty-two years, both love children. They have birthed twelve of
their own and are now enjoying grand-parenting two of their next
generation. |

Gene Shull,
Advisor
Benson, AZ 85602
Gene is currently our Project Director for building, renovations and
maintenance at the Ranch. He is a long time
resident of Benson having moved here from Tucson
with his family in 1958. After graduating from Benson Union High School
he went to work for Apache Powder Co (Now Apache Nitrogen Products) in the
accounting office. He retired from Apache as the accounting manager in
2003.
Gene has always enjoyed working with and raising
animals on his property east of Benson. As a high school student he
worked summers on ranches which gave him a taste of ranch life. Gene has held
various positions in the local church he attended. He was a trustee, treasurer
and deacon. After his retirement from Apache, Gene has enjoyed
being a volunteer for different Christian organizations. He heard of the
need for help at the Children’s ranch and began volunteering. Since that
time he was asked to be project director and has coordinated building projects for the ranch.
